How can it be possible....our Graham is 2 months old??? Tomorrow, that is. I haven't written in a while because life has been MUCH busier with two kiddos! I spent the first 6 weeks at home taking care of our little boy. Definitely didn't do a whole lot during that time. It was wonderful to spend quality time together. Visits from family and friends. We were blessed by our church family (and a few other friends) that provided meals to us...I think we got meals every other day for about 3-4 weeks! It was amazing and we can't say thank you enough. Six weeks flies by with a newborn though! And it was time to go back to work. As much as I love my job, it was very difficult to leave my baby boy. This is my 3rd week back at work actually - that seems crazy too! Grandma (Jan) moved from Jeff City to take care of Graham while me & Scott work. We feel so incredibly blessed to have her here to look after our son. Besides mommy and daddy, no one loves our kiddos more than their grandmas! We will be forever grateful...
It's been a whirl wind - so much going on - so much to process - so much to learn and understand. I will touch more on that in another blog, but for now....I just wanted to show off a more up to date picture of our little guy. We sure do love him to pieces!
And this little girl...
...who isn't so "little" anymore....can't get enough of her baby brother.
And that is exactly what his new name is..."brother". Adeline wakes up in the morning and he's the first person she wants to see. She comes home from school and she's yelling his name, 'brother, brother'. And don't forget bedtime kisses...brother is on the TOP of her list. It's beautiful to see the way she loves him already...just like her mommy and daddy. Of course we have to watch her like a hawk in fear that she might accidently suffocate him! ;) Definitely a learning curve there....LOL.
Thank you Jesus for your precious gifts..."Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change." -James 1:17
