Adeline gets tubes...

So, after many ear infections, we decided it was TIME.  Time to get the tubes and STOP the madness.  I mean, ear infections! As a mother, I can't lie, it's a little scary knowing your child is going to be 'put under'. But, in this case, the surgery was very quick and she was in and out in no time. When the drugs started to wear off, Addy was NOT a happy camper. Actually, she got very angry, cried, screamed, squirmed, you name it. Scott had a difficult time holding on to her so she didn't hurt herself. It's sad to see your child so out of control and there isn't anything you can do. It must be scary though - to be drugged up and not understanding what is going on.

She was a trooper! Mama took her home, got her a bite to eat and then off to nap land we went. That was the best remedy for the situation. After close to three hours, Adeline woke up all smiles. Mama was happy and off to the mall we went to play in the playground. She definitely deserved some PLAY TIME!

Now, does that look like a face of someone who has just been thru surgery? Got it to give it to the kiddos, they are resilient! LUV that girl! :)
