Friday night we went to Good Friday service at Matthias' Lot. That was a first for both me and Scott. Well, it was a first for Adeline too. It was nice to be in service, to worship our Creator, to remember what really happened on Good Friday. A sacrifice beyond sacrifices for all of us. And, like cherry on the top...my niece, Lauren got baptized! It was an amazing evening.

Easter Sunday, we went to LifePoint (this is a new church plant started by Eric & Stephanie Darst). Eric's message was right on...again, it was good to be in remembrance and giving thanks for Christ rising again! It seems that the true meaning of Easter gets lost among the masses. I pray our family never loses sight of the significance of this weekend and that Adeline will grow to know & understand as well.
After church, we went to my brother's home for dinner and to hang out. Nick, Heather, Gavin along with Brian & Terry. It was a fun afternoon - letting the kids play - looking at pics from Brian & Terry's recent cruise to Japan/China - eating - and yes, more eating. LOL!
