Black History Month...this year we celebrated a bit differently. We purchased this book and read a story every night about 28 different black males/females who made a difference by their actions. It is my hope and prayer that our littles would grow up to do the same one day...

One on ones...Scott and I started this for our littles. Whether it be a trip to the grocery store (aka: Costco in this pic), a walk, you name it....just a little time with one of us and one of them from time to time. Everyone likes to feel special, right? ;)
Couldn't be more proud of this girl! She wanted to try out for the Muny, so guess what? WE DID! Well, SHE DID! I believe they said there were about 400 kids trying out! Intimidating to say the least! She had to dance and sing a solo. She didn't get in (THIS TIME), but she did learn a lot from the experience and I couldn't love her more.
Adeline & Tola....I love this friendship SO much!
