Happy Father's Day....Dada...

It's sweet...

Adeline will still call her dad, Dada. It's very purposeful. It's her way of letting her daddy know she is and will always be his "little" girl. Of course, she is waaaay past the "Dada" phase and she says it less and less, but I have to admit, it is sweet music to my ears when she says that word. And, I know it is for her daddy as well.

This Father's Day was a bit low key as we just returned from a B&B trip in Herman, MO celebrating Jen's 40th. We actually bbq'd at the house. Yes, that means DAD bbq'd, but we still enjoyed the day. Grandma brought over a couple sides and dinner was great!

We keep gifts simple for these days. A new cute summer shirt, some white T's (because he really needs them) and the annual photo updates for the albums:

 Adeline: 4 and Graham: 2

Wearing the shirts their daddy wore the day, the moment they were born. It is amazing to see the fit change from year to year. It's one of my most favorite things to do. I remember when that shirt Addy is wearing would swallow her up and now it doesn't even touch the floor! And little man wearing his braces on his feet and standing...melts this mama's heart.

Our friends, the Fohr's watched our kiddos right before Father's Day and they made these adorable cards. Ads said her dad likes to eat salad and loves it when he kisses her. She is SPOT on. Don't you love how she signed it on top? She ran out of room for the "Y" to her name, so she just wrote it above. LOL. Creativity at it's best...
