This is our family's journey as we "walk" through life together...

Oh me, Oh my - October is a busy birthday month...

Nothing better than starting the month off with my nephew, Chase's, 7th birthday (October 1st)! This is a pic from last summer, but so cute so I wanted to put on here. We love you Chasers!!!
A pic of my sister, Renee, and Chase (when he was just a little guy)...
Then, a week later, it's my sister's birthday (October 8th)! She turned 35 and her husband made it an unforgettable weekend! Renee had no idea! Chuck had a surprise b-day party on Friday night at a very trendy hotel bar in Nashville, 1808 Grille, (the day before her actual b-day). She thought she was going to dinner with her husband and voila...there were about 40+ peeps waiting for her arrival. She was shocked. The party was so fun. Of course, she had no idea we were in town either, so that was priceless too. We partied the night away. Here's a few pics from the evening...

The weekend didn't end there....they next day, Chuck rented a stretch Lincoln Navigator to take us to Arrington Vineyard. Beautiful day to be outside, hanging with family & friends and drinking some vino. Of course we snuck in our own wine (as the wine there really isn't that great). ;-)
The birthday girl with Jen!
Ok, probably a bad idea....I believe it was Chuck that thought it would be fun to roll down the hill...
The guys having their cigars!
In the limo...
Me and my man!
All good things must come to an end....Sunday lunch and back to Missouri we went...

Then, just this past weekend, we celebrated Scott's 36th birthday. We went with the Tiller's and Pat & Paul to a new place off Washington, downtown STL called Prime 1000. It was delish! And then across the street to Mosaic for a cocktail while Granny watched the kiddos (thank you Granny!). Fun evening to celebrate! On Scott's official birthday (the 17th), his mom made us dinner and brought over a cookie cake. Then we had some down time (TV off) hanging with the kids! Perfect evening at home. And the month isn't over yet...
