SNODGRASS means Smooth Grass

SNODGRASS means Smooth Grass
This is our family's journey as we "walk" through life together...

Two Shall Become One

Two Shall Become One
Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. -Genesis 2:24

4th of July 2010...

Jeff City - here we come (well, there we were)...
That's the only pic with that hat - she wouldn't keep it on! :)
Gotta love the 4th of July shirt & hat Kim got her!

Got to spend a long weekend hanging with Scott's side of the fam. We stayed at G-Pa Tom & Kim's house.
Addy sucking on that bottom lip...

And we were able to visit G-Ma Jan and the Great-grandparents too! Adeline is still too young to know what is going on, but she had fun hanging out with the fam!

She loves changing the stations on the TV with the remote (getting pretty good at it actually).

Kim's daughter, Britney, also came over a lot. She is SO good with Addy!

It was so nice to spend some quality time together. Friday night, we just hung out. Saturday, we did a little visiting. That night, Britney was so sweet to watch Addy while me, Scott, Tom & Kim went to dinner at O'Donahue's. I have to admit, it wasn't the best, but it was great to have some 'adult' time together.
Then on the actual 4th, we went to Capitol City Christian Church for their 11am service and back home to have lunch with the grandparents. Adeline got a quick nap in and we went to the downtown festivities. It was great for people watchin'....LOL. Scott took charge of Addy's stroller through the crowds. She got wet playing in the fountain below, but loved every minute of it! It was so humid, so I am sure it felt good to cool off! Came back to the house and put Adeline to bed and then we watched fireworks from the deck.
The goats did NOT smell good, but Addy was able to see them. She tried putting her hands up to them - it was so cute, but I was the scared mom and pulled them back!
I thought this pic of the Vietnam War was fitting since we recently just visited my dad's grave.
Noticed this from a distance - He is always watching over us...
